Two more evening courts in Gujarat

Two more evening courts will be inaugurated in Dahod and Jhalod in the state on Thursday. At present there are 62 such courts, which have proved successful.

State Law Minister Ashok Bhatt said that the first evening court was started in Ahmedabad in November 2006 andthe number has now reached 62. As many as 1.01 lakh cases have been settled in these courts. The government has made a provision of Rs. One lakh for these courts, he added.
